- 23/04/2016: Guest lecture
The "Burgenländisch-Hianzische Gesellschaft" in Oberschützen organised a symposium regarding the topic "Youth Languages" (23rd April 2016). Georg Oberdorfer and Anna Weiß presented recent results of the project "Youth Language(s) in Austria" at the symposium. The project co-workers Anna Weiß and Melanie Lenzhofer gave a guest lecture titled “Boah, die is ur die Bitch, Oida. Jugendsprache(n) in Österreich” for students of the study programme ‘Information Design ’at the FH Joanneum Graz.
- 17/11/2015: Workshop at ‘Tag der Sprachen’
An event of the University of Graz called ‘Tag der Sprachen’ took place on the 17th of November 2015. There, the project employee Anna Weiß provided a workshop titled “türkei wor yoga - zum Sprachgebrauch Jugendlicher”. Numerous pupils and students took the chance to become familiar with different studies of the University of Graz and within the workshops they were able to gain an insight into different ‘worlds of languages’.

- 12/06/2015: Presentation at the ‘Steirische Kulturgespräche 2015’
The event called ‘Steirische Kulturgespräche 2015’ (organiser: Volkskultur Steiermark) was dedicated to the subject “Jugend - kommunizieren. reflektieren. engagieren.” In the context of this event, the co-worker Melanie Lenzhofer gave an insight into particular features of language usage among young people in Austria and discussed current trends of youth communication with the audience on the 12th of June 2015.
- 10/12/2014: Guest lecture
The co-workers Anna Weiß and Georg Oberdorfer gave a guest lecture on “Jugend - Jugendsprache - Identiät” at the FH Joanneum Graz and provided the students of the study programme ‘Information Design’ with an insight into the research on youth sommunication.
- 11/11/2014: Workshop at ‘Tag der Sprachen’
An informational event of the University of Graz called ‘Tag der Sprachen’ took place on the 11th of November 2014. In this context, the project co-workers Anna Weiß and Georg Oberdorfer provided a workshop titled “Vollkrass und Nimmer normal? - Jugendsprache(n) in Österreich”. Numerous pupils and students took the chance to become familiar with different studies of the University of Graz and within the workshops they were able to gain an insight into different ‘worlds of languages’.

The project “Youth language(s) in Austria” was represented at the ‘Tag der Geisteswissenschaften’ in course of the poster presentation. Numerous visitors were able to get information about the project.
