- 06/2014-01/2015: Conversation recordings in the federal states
Additional informal conversations between young people on the one hand and (for contrastive analyses) conversations between adults on the other hand have been documented from June 2014 to January 2015 in Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Carinthia, Vienna and Burgenland.
- 11/2013-04/2014: Conversation recordings in the federal states
From November 2013 to April 2014, the project team was on the way throughout Austria in order to collect conversations among young people and among adults. The fieldwork took the co-workers to rural Styrian communes, to Carinthia, Salzburg, Vorarlberg, Tyrol, Vienna and Burgenland. Additional appointments for the recordings in the other federal states will be kept the following months.
- 18/09/2013: Conversation recordings in a youth centre in Graz
After one and a half months of preparation, the first appointment for the recording of a conversation took place: A group of young people of the youth centre Don Bosco in Graz gave us the possibility to document a conversation on the 18th of September 2013. Afterwards the participants filled in a questionnaire with regard to their attitudes towards youth languages and different meta-information like educational background.
